Are You at Increased Risk for Breast Cancer?
EarlyCDT® is designed specifically for women at increased risk of developing breast cancer. Even though all individuals may have some risk of developing breast cancer, you might be at increased risk if you answer “yes” to one or more of the following questions.
If you are at increased risk, EarlyCDT® could be an invaluable aid in detecting the disease early when the cure rate approaches 100 percent.1 However, it is important to realize that EarlyCDT® cannot guarantee the early detection of breast cancer, and early detection cannot guarantee successful treatment.
Breast Cancer risk relating questions:
- Do you have close relatives who have had breast and/or ovarian cancer?
- Did you begin menstruating before age 12?
- Have your mammograms indicated that you have "dense" breast tissue?
- Have you taken estrogen, progesterone, thyroid hormone or cortisone consistently for more than one year?
- Have you had one or more breast biopsies?
- Have you not had children or had your first child after age 30?
- Do you drink one or more alcoholic beverages a day?
This is not meant to be a comprehensive questionnaire. Please talk to your physician about your risk of developing breast cancer.
